To evaluate the efficacy of pelviscopic surgery in gynecologic patient, we have reviewed 184 patietns treated pelviscopically from May 1993 to December 1993. The common indications were ectopic pregnancy (43.5%), ovarian cyst (11.4%), and endometriosis (9.2%) and frequent types of surgery were salpingectomy (25%), electrofulguration(11.4%) and cystectomy(10.3%). Mean age and parity of the patients were 31.4 and 1.25. The most common complication was hemorrhage at the trocar site, but it was controlled without difficulty. In our conclusion, pelviscopic surgery makes minimal postoperative hemorrhage and postoperative discomfort, low complication and short hospital stay. This type of surgery is simple and useful method of treatment in the community hospital.
